Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan’s got lots of heart
In the latest episode of High Stakes Poker Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan makes a great read and manages to pull off what could easily be called the best bluff of televised poker. That deep stack high stakes poker is a hard thing to master is evident when durrrr manages to get reigning world champion Peter Eastgate to lay down trips and Barry Greenstein to fold pocket aces in a $130 k pot. There are not many players that would dare to make a $100 k bluff in this spot.
That WSOP champ Eastgate is out of his league here is pretty evident, hopefully his sponsor PokerStars can give him a nice online poker bonus to help him get his bankroll back on track after the beating he is taking in the show. Durrrr shows once and for all that he’s one of the top high stakes players in the world when he makes a side bet that Eastgate folded the best hand.
High Stakes Poker season five has got a very promising start and I’ve heard rumors that there’s a million dollar pot coming up.

Sam Farha steals $100 from Sean Sheiky
HAHA Awesome video.
Sheiky takes $100 from Sammy’s stack, and Sammy steals $200 back.
Gabe Kaplan doesn’t really get it, but the lesson I want you all to learn is this: “do not steal from a Lebanese gambler, he’ll double-do you!”.
Sam Farha is the man.
Learn to take a Bad Beat
When playing poker, getting smacked in the face with the deck happens in both ways. Some sessions, you'll hit your gutshots on the turn - and other sessions, people will run over your Aces with the 56s like they're destined. Dealing with this type of situations is one of the biggest differences between online poker and real 'gambling' like online bingo or roulette. The misconception of control in poker hurts when looked at on a hand-to-hand basis. Obviously, control is relatively attainable in the long run, but it's hard to focus on the long run when you get beat hand after hand in any given session.
Here's a prime example from Youtube of a guy who obviously feels like the deck hates him more than it hates others...
My only tip, be prepared, whenever you play poker, to get these beats - try not to tilt too badly, and you'll do just fine!
