Chris Ferguson, A poker player by birth

Chris Ferguson has enjoyed poker from his childhood. He has been playing poker since he was ten and even while he was pursuing his doctor’s degree from UCLA he played his favorite game online. Ferguson was born on April 11, 1963 in Los Angeles to parents who were both professors in UCLA. Chris’s father, Thomas Ferguson is a processor of game theory at UCLA. Game theory is a subject which deals with tips and tricks to maximize returns on the investments made in a game of poker, bingo and blackjack among others.
This subject was one of the favorite subjects of Chris Ferguson and helped him a lot in his game play. His affinity for poker made him a professional player of poker in the year 1994 when he took home a ransom of 1.5 million USD by defeating the great T.J. Cloutier. As per date Chris has won over 6 million USD in various poker championship and events.
Chris had an extraordinary affinity for World Series of Poker Tournament bracelets and stands the record of forty five money finishes and one win in these events. Chris was also a runner up in 2005 national poker championship and lost to Ted Forrest in the final game play. At the very first look Chris is hard to recognize as a professional poker player owing to his tall and slender physique with hair falling up to the length of his shoulders. His physique and tender style of talking fetched him a nickname of ‘Jesus’ by his competitors and friends.
At present Chris lives in California.

Many people are not aware of the fact that Jesus is a very skilled mathematician.
Nice of you to bring that up and let the people know!
Chris Ferguson not just looks like Jesus. I think that he is so wise that he really might be THE Jesus in the whole world of Poker. Sometimes I say to myself that he can walk on the river and sometimes I’m get convinced.
I think it’s very important for a poker player to be good at math to calculate the odds and since he has earned a Ph.D in computer science, he might have some “brain power”. Very cool player whom I enjoy following.
